Copyright and Privacy Upload Guidelines

Essential rules to know before uploading content: what you can upload, what you shouldn't, authorization issues for client projects, handling private information in images, choosing a license, and how to contact the platform about infringement or privacy concerns.

What you can upload

The following content can be published on LynHub: - Original design proposals, drawings, renders, and text descriptions you created yourself. - Client project content for which you have explicit authorization (client agrees to public display and licensed collaboration). - Academic exercise work (your own assignments or practice projects). - Forked improvements based on public projects (your own improved version). - Site photos or space photos you took yourself. Uploading means you confirm you have the right to publish this content or have obtained necessary authorization.

What you should not upload

The following content should not be uploaded to LynHub: - Unauthorized client drawings, construction drawings, renders, contracts, or quotes. - Others' photographs, design works, or copyrighted materials (unless authorized). - Images containing ID numbers, phone numbers, unit numbers, license plates, client names, or faces (especially minors). - Images containing contract content, invoice information, bank account numbers, or other financial information. - Images or text containing WeChat IDs, QR codes, or other off-platform contact information. - Content subject to third-party restrictions (e.g. paid assets from stock sites, screenshots of unauthorized font files). If you're unsure whether content can be uploaded, it's recommended to obtain authorization first or choose not to upload.

Client project authorization and de-identification

If you're uploading a client-commissioned project, the following conditions must be met: 1. Client has given explicit authorization: the client agrees to the project content being publicly displayed on LynHub and agrees to your chosen license. Verbal consent is insufficient — keep written authorization records. 2. Client private information has been removed: renders, floor plans, and construction drawings must not contain client names, unit numbers, ID numbers, phone numbers, contract numbers, invoice information, etc. 3. Commercially sensitive information has been removed: must not contain pricing details, cost data, supplier information, undisclosed business strategies, etc. 4. Choose an appropriate license: if the client doesn't want the proposal to be modified or used by others, choose "display only all rights reserved". In step 5 of the upload project page, you need to tick "confirm you have publishing rights or authorization" and "confirm images contain no unauthorized client private information". If you discover that an uploaded project contains unauthorized client information, immediately delete the project or contact legal@lynhub.com.

Handling private information in images

Before uploading any image, check each one for the following information and process it if found: - ID numbers, passport numbers, etc. → blur or crop - Phone numbers, landline numbers → blur or crop - Unit numbers, detailed addresses → blur or crop - License plates → blur or crop - Client names, signatures → blur or crop - Faces (especially minors) → blur or crop - Contract content, invoice information → blur or crop - Bank account numbers, payment QR codes → blur or crop - WeChat IDs, QQ numbers, etc. → blur or crop You can use your phone's built-in photo editor, your computer's paint tool, or online blurring tools. Process before uploading to LynHub. This check applies to all upload scenarios: uploading floor plans when publishing a design request, uploading renders when publishing a design project, uploading proposal images when submitting a proposal, uploading new proposal images when creating a fork.

Choosing a license

Authorization for public projects is subject to the confirmation shown on the publishing page. The MVP currently displays public projects under CC BY-SA 4.0 by default. This means others may study, reference, review, and fork your work provided they comply with attribution and the share-alike condition. This form no longer stores separate "allow forks" or "license choice" fields, and you cannot switch between multiple licenses at publishing time. If more license options become available in the future, they will be shown separately on the publishing page. If you discover authorization or privacy issues after publishing, contact legal@lynhub.com.
