Users retain all rights they hold by law over their original designs, text, images, drawings, and proposal descriptions. Granting the licenses below does not transfer ownership, and content is not treated as open source or under any specific license by default.
By publishing content, users grant LynHub a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, translate, convert formats, compress, generate thumbnails, and use the content for platform operations and promotion. This license supports in-platform browsing, review, version history, and content governance.
Public projects have exactly two collaboration modes: - Display only: grants the platform the use necessary for display, review, thumbnails, and technical processing; it does not grant other users fork rights on LynHub. - Open collaboration: in addition to the above, allows other LynHub users the necessary collaborative use for in-platform forking, modification, display, review, and version evolution; it does not automatically represent an out-of-platform commercial license. The mode is chosen before publishing (default display only) and cannot be changed after publication.
Forks created from an open collaboration project continue to be published as open collaboration and may be forked again by other users. A fork does not imply the original author endorses the derivative content, and the platform does not acquire ownership of user content by displaying it.
A publicly displayed project does not mean full construction drawings, quotes, material lists, CAD source files, or client commercial materials are freely available. Access to full deliverables, commercial materials, and detailed drawings requires separate negotiation or authorization; the platform does not promise they are public by default.
Users must not upload images, cases, construction drawings, client materials, photographs, renders, assets, trade secrets, contracts, or third-party-restricted content without authorization. For client-commissioned projects, users must confirm the right to publicly display and license collaboration, and remove client private and commercially sensitive information.
Historical authorization records users explicitly made before this rule took effect are not rewritten by this product change; history records serve existing authorization relationships and audit only. New publications and subsequent platform operations uniformly apply the current "display only / open collaboration" product settings.
