Content License Agreement

Last updated: June 2026

1. User Retained Rights

Users retain all rights they hold under applicable law in their original designs, text, images, drawings, and project descriptions. Granting the licenses below does not transfer ownership, nor does it mean content is open source or CC-licensed by default, unless the user explicitly chooses so.

2. Operating License Granted to the Platform

When users publish content, they grant LynHub a non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, display, translate, convert formats, compress, generate thumbnails, and use the content for platform operations and promotional display. The license is royalty-free and supports in-platform browsing, reviews, forks, version history display, and content governance.

3. Public Display, Translation, Format Conversion, and Thumbnails

Users acknowledge that publicly published content may be displayed on LynHub's public pages and may be viewed, saved, commented on, referenced, linked to, or have structured reviews formed around it by other users. To adapt to different devices and languages, the platform may perform necessary format conversion, compression, thumbnail generation, and translation display.

4. Authorization Boundaries for Review, Fork, and Proposal

Public content may be viewed, saved, and reviewed by other users within the platform. Whether forks are permitted depends on the user's submission settings and what the page displays. When a user chooses to allow forks, they permit others to propose derivative proposals, improvement suggestions, or version branches based on that public content, but this does not imply endorsement by the original author. The platform does not acquire ownership of user content by displaying it.

5. Full Delivery Files and Commercial Material Boundaries

A publicly displayed project does not mean that full construction drawings, quotations, material lists, CAD source files, or client commercial materials are freely open. Unless the user explicitly chooses an open collaboration license, access to full delivery files, commercial materials, and detailed drawings requires separate negotiation or authorization; the platform does not commit to making these public by default.

6. Third-Party Material Responsibility

Users must not upload images, cases, construction drawings, client materials, photographs, renders, assets, trade secrets, contracts, or third-party-restricted content they do not have the right to use. For client-commissioned content, users should confirm they have the right to publicly display and license collaboration, and have removed client private and commercially sensitive information.

7. Infringement Complaints and Takedowns

If you believe platform content infringes your rights, contact us via the copyright complaint page or legal@lynhub.com. Based on the complaint materials, the platform may take temporary takedown, hiding, restoration, or request additional materials. Users may contact the platform to request deletion or adjustment of public content; reasonable prior display, caching, and review records may be retained as necessary under applicable law and platform rules.
