How to Log In to Your Account

After logging into your LynHub account, you can publish design requests, upload design projects, submit proposals, participate in structured reviews, and create forked improvements. This guide explains how to log in, common failure reasons, and security reminders.

When you need to log in

Browsing public projects and requests does not require logging in. The following actions require login: - Publishing a design request - Uploading a design project - Submitting a proposal - Submitting a structured review - Creating a forked improvement - Bookmarking projects or requests - Viewing personal review history (future feature) - Using membership features (future feature) If you are just browsing content, you do not need to log in.

How to log in

The login page offers two methods: 1. Google login: click the "Continue with Google" button, complete the authorization on the Google consent page, and you will be automatically signed in and redirected to your account page. 2. Email verification code login: enter the email address you used when signing up, click "Send code", and the system will send an email with a code. Enter the code on the page and click "Verify and log in" to complete the login. If the email is not registered, please go to the signup page to create an account first. If you don't have an account yet, click the "Sign up" link at the bottom of the page to go to the signup page.

Common login failure reasons

Here are the most common reasons for login failure and how to resolve them: 1. Email not registered: if you see "This email is not registered" when using the email verification code login, the email has not been used to create an account yet. Please go to the signup page to create an account first. 2. Incorrect or expired code: the verification code has a limited validity period. Make sure you enter the latest code from the email. If it has expired, click "Resend code" to get a new one. 3. Didn't receive the code email: check your spam folder. If you still haven't received it, click "Resend code". If you still don't receive it after multiple attempts, contact support@lynhub.com. 4. Google authorization failed: if you cancel the authorization or encounter an error on the Google consent page, click "Continue with Google" again to retry. 5. Network issues: if your network is unstable, the request may time out. Check your network connection and try again. 6. Account service temporarily unavailable: if you see a message saying "The account service is temporarily unavailable", the platform account service is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later or contact support@lynhub.com. If you still cannot log in after multiple attempts, contact support@lynhub.com.
